Contracts / Fee's / Payouts Each franchise will cost $100.00 per season. $25.00 per team and half of all transaction fees will go toward downloading costs for stats on CBS, web site server space, maintaining web site, computer paper, printer cartridges, copies, postage, and envelopes. Half the franchise fee is due on draft day with the rest due upon the start of the season. Pay out could be higher depending on number of transactions per season. Overall first place $150 Winnings will be credited toward next season fee’s before pay out is made. This will help cover off season cost to run leagues. All teams can sign a player to one, two, or three year contracts. It will be determined each season by the commissioner as to how many long term contracts can be signed. All teams can sign there first drafted player and rookies to a 3 year contract. Long term contracts are considered two and three year contracts. Cost to add a player via free agency is $1.00 If a franchise owner cuts a player that has a long term contract, the fee to release such a player is $3.00.
