Trades
As with real NFL teams, franchise owners can trade
or transfer one or more players from one franchise to another.
Each trade may involve only two franchises, and
each franchise must exchange an equal number of players position
for position once the MFL Mini Draft is over and during NFL season.
At the conclusion of Week 17 of regular season teams are allowed to open trade player for players and or player for players and draft picks.
Future draft picks can be included in trades, but players
cannot be bought or sold with money.
Trades must be finalized in time for the weekly
lineup exchange to be eligible for play that week.
No trades are
allowed after the Monday night game ends of week 10 of the season.
All trades must be confirmed and ok’d by the
league commissioner. If the commissioner determines a trade to
be to one sided or suspects money is involved, the commissioner
can veto the trade.
The commissioner’s veto may be overruled with seven owners
voting in favor of the trade.
No players can be traded back to the original team
until two weeks have passed during the NFL season and any players with long term contracts become 1 year or what is left of remaining year.
